Hi! So I have a question about baby growth. Raegen is a lot smaller than Dilyn and I'm not used to it. She has been in the 40-35% percentile up until her 9 month check up & is now down to the 15%. She is not a fan of baby food anymore & hates being spoon fed & wants to try & feed herself. so as of this week I just offer her finger foods and she munches on that but doesnt eat a ton. I still feed her baby cereal for breakfast though & she still nurses 5 times a day. Dilyn was always in the 50% she dipped a little around a year but has always been a great eater. So my question is should I be worried about Raegens decrease in weight like that? Her first doc seemed concerned but her new doc (we switched to a doc that is closer to our house) didn't seem concerned. She is happy & meeting all her milestones great but has the tiniest legs. Any feedback is appreciated!

Claire has always been smaller than Carter was and he wasn't ever high on the charts either. Her docs were concerned when she was really young because she was low on the growth charts but as she has grown she has followed along the same line so they are not concerned anymore. I think they told me as long as she follows along the same line and doesn't dramatically drop down it is okay.

Yes, our doctor said not to be concerned if they ar staying pretty constant in their growth. It sounds like she dropped bit though, it's great that she's still breastfeeding though, at least you know she's getting the best nutriution there. Just offer her foods more often during the day, and keep doing what you're doing.
