Tips for making smoothies
• Use a good blender with power to whir (with a tight-fitting lid).
1 Put frozen ingredients (ice cubes, frozen fruit, sorbet, low-cal ice cream) in the blender.
• Add liquid ingredients like water, juice or soy milk (it's important to use enough liquid to keep it runny).
• Fasten the lid and hit the start button, high speed for 30 seconds.
• Set blender to low speed and add powder items (make sure blender is running first).
• Press stop button and check for consistency. Add liquid if needed.
