This is yummy! Very refreshing in the summer, and you can use low
fat/fat free ingredients to make it more healthy without sacrificing
Butter 13x9 dish (I spray w/ butter flavored pam) and line with graham crackers (low fat). Mix 1-6 oz. or 2 small pkges French vanilla instant pudding (use sugar free vanilla) with 3 cups cold milk (1% - skim is too thin for this). Then add 1 -8oz. tub Cool Whip (I use fat free). Pour a good layer over graham crackers. Top with a layer of graham crackers. Add another layer of pudding, end with graham crackers on top. Put in frig.
1 cup sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/3 cup cocoa
1/4 cup milk
1 tblsp. table syrup (Karo)
Combine. Bring to boil. Cook 1 min. Remove from heat. Add 1/4 cup butter, 1 tsp. vanilla. Let cool. Stir after it cools until it's smooth and thick, but still pours. Pour it over pudding and grahams. Refrigerate until time to serve.
