Four Layer Dessert

First Layer
1/4 lb butter or margarine, melted
1 cup flour
2 oz. ground pecans or walnuts, optional

Mix all together and press in 9 by 13 pan. Bake at 375^F for 15 minutes. Allow to cool completely before adding next layer.

Second Layer
1 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 cup confectioners sugar
1 8 oz. cool whip, thawed
Option : Fresh Fruit cover the layer with (Pineapple, Blueberries or strawberries)

Blend together until there are no lumps and spread over crust. Crust will crack a little.

Third Layer
2 large boxes instant chocolate pudding or 2 small boxes depending on flavor.
Mix according to package and spread over cream cheese layer.

Fourth Layer
1 8 oz. container cool whip, thawed
Spread over pudding

Refrigerate overnight.
