We are leaving Charleston at 3am Sunday morning and should arrive around noon I guess. We will be stopping for breakfast and lunch along the way We come back next Saturday. I am so excited, I have not been since I was 4 so this is like the first time all over again. The only thing I am worried about is someone kidnapping Sam. Silly I know but it is making me very nervous
See you all when I get back. Oh yeah, and Tori listen out for us.
I completely understand your worries but let me tell you...the parks are probably the safest place for you to go! They have employees every few feet and IF your child goes missing and can't be found they will close down the gates and not allow anyone to leave. When you get there, point out to the kids the name badges and tell them if they get separated for even a moment to scout out someone with a uniform and name badge and tell them you're lost. Tell them to go into the store closest to them and not to leave. Your job would be to notify an employee and they will radio that there is a missing child. All employees have radios so they'll hear the page and let them know they have the child in____ store. You also might tape your cell phone number to the INSIDE of the children's shirts and tell them to show that to whomever finds them if they get lost. Although it is a huge place, safety is their number 1 priority--for obvious reasons. So leave all those worries at home and have a wonderful time!!!! We'll be listening for that horn...
