So does anyone have any fantastic weekend plans???

Last night I went to a friends house and helped her move stuff with my truck. That was so fun we were laughing and having a good time and I am not sure that we got done as much as we could have. I left here at about 530 and I didn't get home until 1215 this morning. O well it was fun.

Today Kal and I are going through all the kids stuff. I am so disgusted by the state of their rooms that I couldn't take it anymore. We moved the rooms around and gave the girls the bigger room because they no longer wanted bunkbeds. Gabe did so he is in their room. I have weeded out the books that they do not read, pictures that are not up, a couch, an extra mattress, a storage system and I am working my way to the toys. I have already gotten a call about the books so that is a start. I can not wait until I can walk around in the house again.

Tomorrow we have church and then hanging out with just us.

Oh and if you are the praying type PLEASE pray for Kal. He had a job interview yesterday and it was at 130 and took almost 2 hours so he didn't get back to work until about 330 and he went to leave at 430 and he already had an email asking for a paystub so that they could verify how much he was making now. That was awesome. We would really like him to get an offer from this company.

I will include him in my prayers tonight! Tom had an interview last week too. Same company, but it would be a promotion.
As far as plans go, nothing much. We're digging out from the effects of hurricane Faye today...had a huge tree come down in the yard. Fortunately, it only took out a bit of the fence and missed the shed and the pool enclosure entirely! WHEW! It did leave a big mess, though so that has to be dealt with. Other than that, nothing going on but cleaning.

I will put Tom in our "job" prayers. Kal works for the state at the community college here and his interview was for a different college but still a state job. It would be an increase in pay so that is what we want.

My girls room is completely done with no help from them. I kicked them out. I found a box with chips in it, a bunch of popcorn seeds and some cheetos in their old room. They are not allowed to have food anywhere but the table and I seriously think that they sleep eat.

I have to vacuum Gabes room and line up his toy boxes. I just do not feel like going through them today. Tomorrow my plans have changed and I am going back to my friends house to help her move some more stuff.

I constantly have the food argument with my daughter! And she's diabetic! I find dishes, empty packages, bits and pieces of food she leaves around....that is so AGGRIVATING! With her, mostly it's glasses and cups but every once in a while she has brought snacks in there too. I get so frustrated by that and she has been told hundreds of times not to eat or drink in her room or the living room! I wish I could figure out the magic phrase that would turn that around for me....any ideas?

Well I packed up everything into two tubs. They are starting school in a week anyway and there is never anytime to play with stuff. I told them that when they could show me that they can keep it clean that I will slowly start to give them back. I did this a few years ago and they kept it clean for about a year and then things went downhill and I have not forced it until yesterday. With the food though I have no advice. They do it and I can not get it to stop.

Well...we were "suppose" to go to Fenway but realized that Neil Diamond was playing there & couldn't (we have tickets for a tour). We didn't do much, just looked at furniture, we are in some serious need of a new desk but the ones that were there were overpriced & not worth my money for what it looked like & it's function.

We had a pretty "chill" weekend. I did have to go to the mall today (late afternoon) & exchange EVERYTHING I got my son on the internet via Children's Place. I did the measurements & went by the sizing chart but it was a mess cause he's tall but skinny, he looked dumb in the larger sizes & smaller sizes were riding up his bum & then I knew they'd be too tight & shrink. I dunno.. he takes after his bio-dad, very tall, skinny, hard time finding clothing to fit him. I am the opposite, short & chubby... well... I must add I've been losing weight, it's been a struggle but I joined & on-line calorie counter & I've almost lost 30lbs (not quite but close)...trying to get this baby fat (from birth) off my 5'1" frame. Okay, I think I gave way TMI on that subject. Sorry

Tomorrow I have PT for my toddler & then my DS starts school on Tuesday, talk about a summer that's gone by super fast but I am happy. It's time for the fall. My disability stinks in the heat/humidity.

Time for bed, almost 10p & my kids are early risers.

Take care,
Chantelle
