What are you guys doing for Halloween? Do you have your step-kids? Do you swap turns w/ your ex for your bio-kids?
-I have all my kids except my DSS, he stays w/ his mother since he lives too far away to come back & forth on a weeknight. I've always had my bio-sons w/ me, that will never change. It's one of those traditions we have w/ friends & it's a nice thing to do. Now I just have to get 2 more costumes & I'll be all set, I know, I'm pushing the envelope on buying costumes but w/ DS' BDay that just passed, things creep up on you fast. That's on my "to-do" list.
I have no idea. We have no where to go this year since my MIL moved. We do not live in a neighborhood. And that is our big Applefest day until 2pm. The kids will be with my MIL all day and then we are going to pick them up. Kal really wants to go because it is his birthday but I have no costumes and not sure when I have time to get any.
Thank you ~* Helen *~ for the best all about me siggie! You are absolutely fabulous!
The kids are going trick or treating but I'm new to the area so I'm not sure where DH goes. DSD is going to be Cinderella & we already have her costume. DS wants to be Al Capone type depression era gangster (have no idea where that came from) so I'm trying to figure out what to do for him a costume. I never spend very much if it's something that won't get used again. DSD loves dressup so her's will get the money's worth out of it.
DH, DS, & DH's friends all play Dungeons and Dragons. DH is setting up a huge game for Halloween & 6 of us are going to play after DSD goes to bed. That's about as far as we get in my house towards partying. LOL.
Lucy is going to be a princess. I bought her an expensive, beautiful costume. I'm ok with spending the money because she plays dress- up all the time. She's already playing with her costume.
Noah is going to be a firefighter. Got a costume from the same place. I also found a hatchet glow stick at the dollar store. Not sure if he'll go out though. He's 3 & everything is "scary" to him. So we'll see.
