DH & I are celebrating our wedding anniversary this weekend, we have reservations for dinner tomorrow night, a sitter, everything in place. A problem....DH is sick, he's on the couch, asleep from Nyquil, and my Aunt Flow is here, and she's being a total pain in my arse. Hopefully DH feels up to a dinner but if not, looks like we'll be canceling. I hate to spend $200+ for a nice meal when DH is so sick. It's no fun to go out when you are under the weather, especially when you can barely keep your eyes open. If not, I'm going to see about next weekend instead, but ...it's Easter weekend, we have a party on Saturday day, Easter is Sunday, I just don't think it would be the best thing, I don't know. Frustrating. I feel badly, he's under the weather.
So... what are you ladies up to this weekend? Anything fun? How about Easter? Are you ready for the that? I already did my shopping for the kids, just need to decorate the real eggs w/ the babies on Thur. or Fri.
What's everyone up too? I've been MIA, I apologize, have a lot on my mind lately.
Bummer! I hope your dh is feeling better so you can go out tonight!
As for us, I've posted this weekend in another thread. Easter weekend Dh works. So the kids & I'll just hang out. We're not doing any Easter Egg hunts unless I can find an indoor one. It's been really cold here & I can't be outside in the could because of my disease. So we'll probably just spend a nice weekend at home.
We went to an Easter egg hunt yesterday sponsored by my MIL's job. It was to a park about 30 min away that I'd never been to before. It's really pretty. I may have to make a point to take the kids there whenever we go to town. DSD spent the night with my SIL last night and DH is working this weekend so it's a little bit lonely.
