any wages on whether or not we settle in mediation or have to have a full hearing? I'm not holding my breath.

mediation is a waste of time IMHO. DF and DSS's bio-monster did it for 6 sessions (cause they were court ordered to) and it got them NO WHERE. it's a waste of time. If you are on the same page, it helps move things along quickly. If you aren't on the same page, forget about it

good luck though!

Well, she told the judge at the last hearing that Neely told her that she would never have to pay child support (which is not true, by the way), so I doubt she's gonna settle for anything. The bottom line is that she has to pay; nothing but death and incarceration could prevent her from being ordered to pay something.

so your DH has full custody of the kids? then absolutely she HAS to pay CS. I would have skipped mediation and taken her right to court. but that's just my opinion LOL

Well, that's what we did, but during the first hearing she lied about filing an answer to the complaint so he asked if anyone was opposed to mediation. I would have said yes, but I wasn't the one at the podium.

Anyway, court is on the 30th if mediation doesn't work on the 21st. And yes, he has full legal and physical custody.
