Will has only been in middle school since last Tuesday and he's already lying about homework. I feel like the wicked step mother since I'm the one home when he gets home from school.

Those of you have have stepkids full time, do you deal with discipline or do you leave it to the bio-parent?

It depends if it's something like homework I leave it up to her dad. If it comes to things that keep the household running I will speak up. Or if it's dangerous I will speak up!

I feel like I have to say something to him because I don't want to be the "wait till your father gets home" parent, kwim?

I know what you mean.

Kayla is 15 so her homework is really her problem in my eyes. If she fails she can be in high school forever!

That must be so frustrating. I'm not in your shoes but I feel for you!
