Do your kids have two parties, one at each house or do you invite the ex's over for the parties?

His ex doesn't come to our house. She doesn't have a car anyway and we live an hour away. She's so out of her mind that I would never invite her to a family function because she's for sure make it all about her. I wish things were different, but that's how it is. She does not throw parties for the boys, though.

My ex and I always did one party and he (and his girlfriend of the month) always came and he brought the half-siblings too. In fact, he usually comes to breakfast at our house Christmas mornings. Neely is totally cool with it because he knows we don't have a volatile relationship and he also knows that he will always be part of my life, but not part of my heart.

We usually have one and invite everyone. It's much easier this way.

Except for S's 4th b-day she didn't want to have a party she wanted us to take her to the aquirum which we did. But her grandmother decided to have a big party for her inwhich I wasn't invited.
