Sooo, my husband called me. The kids' mother is planning on coming out to see them this weekend. From Friday, late afternoon, until Sunday, in the afternoon. She hasn't seen them in quite a while... I just wish I had more than 4 days' notice, you know? Apparently she's looking for airline tickets, it may or may not happen, yet, I suppose. We're not telling the kids until we're 100% that this is happening, I don't wanna get any hopes up.
So, it's not this weekend. It's next weekend. She couldn't get a flight for this weekend (I wonder why? ). She'll be seeing the kids for a whopping 24 hours. Tops.
My husband spent over an hour last night, going back and forth with her about crap. Her, TELLING him that he will bring the kids to her (1 and 1/2 hour drive to where she flies in) and that he WILL pick them up... then we found out how late she's coming in, and then she decided to just stay here in our city with them. The entire thing made my brain hurt. Not to mention, she booked the flight without telling my husband which days she was looking at... she didn't bother asking if we had plans, she just bought the tickets. Turns out, we have plans on the day she's flying in. However, she's flying in so late, it doesn't matter.

Must be the week, I picked up my blackberry when I got out of my meeting today and BM e-mailed DH and I and said that she was coming in this weekend and was going to be in all week. Can she come by to see her, or maybe tag along for trick or treating?
