That really sucks. Have you looked into getting a different insurance?

Wow that sucks! How can he get away with that? Do you have it in any court documents that he is to cover?

Can she qualify for any of the state health care programs?

My questions too. If the court ordered him to provide medical coverage for her, he's technically in contempt of court if he canceled it. I would file a motion for contempt or talk to the state's attorney about it.

I have no idea how health insurance works, as it's all paid for here by our government... but if there was some reason that your ex was paying for your DD's health insurance... it doesn't sound like he can just "decide" he's not doing it anymore. There must be something that you have in your agreement in regards to custody/CS/access and all that stuff that he just can't do that....

I'm sorry that you are going through this, and as much as it sucks right now... you have to stay strong for your daughter.... Move to Canada, you don't have to worry about health insurance then.... it's ALL covered here

That is really sucky. Hopefully you can revisit the issue in Court, though if he doesn't have any insurance available to him through his job, I imagine that you will be responsible for paying your monthly premium, but they can make your XH pay 50% of all medical costs which should help with the deductible.
