Tim sent BM an email asking to renegotiate a pick up/drop off location. Right now he is driving 157 miles, and BM is driving 43 miles every two weeks. Back in July, he had tried to reach an agreement, and she forced him into this location by refusing to meet anywhere else. This only reduced the mileage by 20 miles a week. (At that point he was driving 177 miles and she was driving 23 miles!)
Anyway, we have been on such good terms lately, and I'm afraid this will cause her to get on the defensive and all hell will break loose. KWIM? On the other hand, it's about time that he sent this email. It's crazy that she expects us to drive so far. Not to mention she is perputuately late, which then causes Tim to be late to work. But that's a different matter.
I'm just freaking out, and I know I should calm down... but can't. It's so stupid, this shouldn't be a big deal. Who knows, maybe she'll actually agree. Worst case she says no right?
Special thanks to AlexAiden Mommy for my precious siggy
Good luck, I hope you're able to find a place that can work for everyone! It can be hard when it comes to children and the other parent - I've been discussing things with Xander's stepmom about visiting his dad. It's... a challenge.
Good luck! We have similar issues here in that th court order mandates that she is to provide half the transportation, but they wouldn't see her if we didn't take them to her. It's about 35 miles, but it's an hour drive. She only wants them for partial day visits then we spend 4 hours in the car or have to waste part of our day hanging around waiting for her to be done.
