Sorry your not feeling your best. I hope you feel better soon.
Personally, I just came out of a several week funk and am feeling happy for the 1st time in a long time. I hope it doesn't end
The biggest thing I'm thrilled about is my dd. She has vision problems that make it hard for her to read despite the fact that she is highly intelligent. We struggled for a couple of years until we figured out the problem (her's isn't an obvious one). She did vision therapy 2 years ago & it was a great success. Except it's been really hard to get her to read. She's supposed to read 30 minutes/night & I could barely get her to read at all. Her eyes get tired & quite honestly I think a lot of it was that she just got overwhelmed by the size of the books she's supposed to read. A few weeks ago, I started to think about getting her a Kindle. It would allow us to increase the font size so it will make books easier for her to read and since it doesn't show the size of the book she might not get so overwhelmed.
I had to wait until this weekend to have the money. But I bought 1 Sunday & downloaded a book from our local library. She read for almost 1 hour on Sunday & did her 30 minutes yesterday. Today she should finish the book!!!!!!! Can I say how happy that makes me because she only has finished 2-3 books in the last 2 years. She'll start 1 & then get overwhelmed & move on to the next one. She was so caught up in having to read that the joy of the story was lost.
Anyway I'm thrilled and hope the novelty doesn't wear off.
