Sorry to hear your teen is sick!

Last weekend we had a sick toddler so I hear you! Poor kid, when he gets like that, the slightest think makes his little face crumple up and the tears start coming down. I think we even got tears because we made lunch after church and he didn't want lunch.
It would seem, however, that I caught whatever he had because the last 24 hours have been awful for me. Yesterday morning it was just sinus pressure and irritation so I wondered if it was allergies (pollen count here is HIGH right now) but by the afternoon and evening I had muscle aches, chills, a sore throat and a fever - by the time we got into bed, dh pulled me close to him and then pulled back in shock because I felt like I was on fire, apparently.

The fever is gone this morning but I'm still achy and sore and my throat hurts a lot. Thankfully I don't have anything pressing to do today so I'm just going to relax and hope tomorrow is better.
This will be the first weekend in over a month that we haven't had kids or dh hasn't had to work, so we'll probably relax most of the time anyway. We have a couple small errands to run and we're going to get haircuts too. I'm sooo excited. My hair is way long right now - it's been growing since 2008, minus trims, and I left it because I wanted it long for our big wedding but it's just a nightmare right now. It takes ages to wash and dry and style. I think what I'm going to do is cut a bunch off and then by July it will be long enough to put into an updo again.
