We were supposed to move up north w/ SO since that's where his job is. I was supposed to quit my job & we were planning on going by the end of this month. So I gave my landlord notice.
Well, crap. At least I didn't give notice at my job... But... I was freaking out. Where are we gonna go? I hadn't planned moving expenses, that was supposed to be his thing to take care of....
I applied for a place that is $250/mo cheaper than where I live now... and I got it! I move in on 8/25, giving me plenty of time to get moved, settled, and go back and clean my old place before the end of August. They also are working w/ me on the move in costs.
So a crappy situation has actually turned out okay.
As for the baby, I'm keeping it. (wasn't really ever much of a question...) I haven't heard from him this week. I asked that he come move his truck from in front of my house tonight. I asked him via email... (I want proof, just incase, cuz hey you never know.. I like to have things in writing)... He emailed me back & said he'd get it tonight....
Never once has he asked about my pregnancy, moving, or "us".... All I can think is good riddance. I put all of his stuff in the back of his truck. It was my place & my bills and I've paid them all myself, so I don't feel bad. He just had some clothes, toothbrush and bike.
I'm actually oddly excited about going back to just me and the kids again. Maybe I'm too independent, I don't know. But I can't help but think everything happens for a reason and this is no different. Time to pick up the pieces and move forward. *sigh*
Just wanted to give you ladies a quick update. Does having kids from two different men count as a "blended" family?
