How was your weekend? Do anything fun?

Mine was pretty quiet for the most part. Saturday I didn't do anything but Kev took Doni to her sonogram appointment then went out to some dj battle that he wanted to see. Yesterday we ran some errands. I did take Ethan with me since I knew I would be out for a few hours. I actually NIP while he was in the carrier and no one even knew. It was pretty cool. He was such a good boy, sleeping pretty much the entire time only waking to eat. He did get fussy on the drive home, he did not like being in the car seat and he managed to toss his binky so we couldn't find it. Very frustrating drive home in the rain. Plus it didn't help that he was getting hungry. But all and all it was a nice weekend.

We didn't do a whole lot. Saturday was quiet - we all hung around the house in the morning and went swimming in the afternoon. We were lucky to get a little bit of sunshine for that as it rained all morning and was threatening to into the afternoon. It's my birthday today so my il's planned for a little get together yesterday. We went right from church to their house and sil and her girls came over too (bil and their son had a baseball thing they needed to be at) so the kids got to play with their cousins for awhile and we all had cake and ice cream. It was nice. Then sil and the girls headed home and we took the kids for a swim before they were picked up by bm. Last night I started reading a book that was written by our pastor's son about faith and moving away from the craziness of culture wars. It's REALLY interesting and I'm enjoying it a lot. Here is the Amazon page if anyone is interested.

We had a pretty good weekend. Saturday was uber hot & then we had a brief storm so we just hung around the house. Sunday we went to Lincoln Park Zoo in downtown Chicago. That was fun. It was good that the weather cooled down to 85 so we could get out of the house & do something. It was our last full weekend with dsd so we wanted some family fun.

Friday we started school shopping for the kids and got most of it done. Saturday Jonah had to work and we had to find some pants for Sean that we did not find on Friday so I took the kids (made Sean drive because I was not feeling good) and went and bought Sean's pants for school. Saturday night and Sunday Jonah and I worked on school work and made sure that everything was all ready for Robert to start school this morning. Sean and Dani start Wednesday and that is causing so many issues in our house!

Sean is in Physical Therapy for his back right now and Dani had an orthodontist appt today so it was very busy here plus I had a midterm to do for school today too!

And technically it is not the weekend but I have the first step in my Bariatric journey Wednesday morning after I get all the kids on the way to school Wednesday. I will be meeting with their counselor to make sure I am "mentally fit" to have the procedure.

I'm home with my family in Canada, so this weekend has been awesome. We got here Thursday after some major driving (we left Monday evening from Wi). We spent Friday and Saturday with my family, then yesterday we drove towards the city so DH could see the ocean, stopped at a light house, then went to see fellow JMer Jenn and got my baby Katie snuggles. Her almost 4 year old acted like it had been 2.5 years since he saw me last, and seemed to love DH.

Today we went and did some local sight seeing. Tomorrow we pull my belongings out of storage and repack it for the drive home.. but we don't leave for about 10 days

The weekend was Great! I had to work Saturday, so Sophia go to spend it with my mom. We all went to lunch together.

Sunday we met up with Sophia's Godparents and got crabs for a late lunch. Sophia was spoiled silly!

Paul worked all weekend.

It was a nice weekend here too! Saturday I went to the Great Latch On. That was in Annapolis, which is about an hour from me, so Sarah and I shopped a little in the mall while we were there. Then had lunch, picked Daniel up from Neely at his studio and headed home for a nap and relaxing. Neely went to a party with a friend so it was just me and the little guys since it was W&C's mom's weekend.

Sunday Neely and I went to see 12 Stones and The Dreaming. That was all kinds of awesome.

My weekend was pretty average - I can't actually remember what I did which means it was boring and uneventful, although uneventful is a good thing! Saturday Gaby was meant to have rugby but felt sick so didn't play - we spent the morning at my parents and then had a quiet afternoon at home. Sunday Gaby was with her father and Emmy was still at hers (dropped her off early Saturday morning), so I had a nice quiet day.. spent most of it online talking to Lauriel
