Ok ladies, this is completely off topic, but I want your opinion on what can be going on with my mom. My dad says she has gone completely crazy. I got a small taste of it this afternoon. My sister has gotten some of it too. I honestly think this is where all of the family drama is coming from!
This evening, Sean stayed after school. We picked him up, went and got supper, came home, and dropped him off at my parents because my dad needed him to help drive hauling hay (he can pull a trailer better than my mom). I got out of the car and heard a alert noise at our chicken house, so Jonah and Dani came inside and I went to the chicken house and called Sean to come help me because my parents had not made it home yet. Sean and I were investigating the strange noise, it is a process of elimination.
I called my dad as we were looking. This has been the procedure for the past 30 years we have lived here. Something goes wrong in the chicken house, call Daddy. My mom was at the house when we got home. I told her what we are doing. She jumps on me for calling my dad! She said why didn't you call me? I just told her I thought they were coming home at the same time, just in different trucks (this was not the case, Dad was loading the 2nd trailer after she left). She was so mad at me. She had to go down to the chicken house herself after Sean and I told her what the issue was. Dad come home, his phone rang so I could not talk to him, but I got him to talk to me when he headed back to the field.
Dad said mom has gotten to the point that she has to be notified first for everything. She pitches a fit if someone calls Dad about something. My sister sent him a pic and not her, same problem, she got jumped on (Dad actually called her a two year old then). Dad says he cannot have a phone conversation without her having to know who it is, what they want, etc, even at work! Some of the things he told me she is doing are just strange, yet funny. Its almost like she is a child! She has to know where everyone is, what they are doing, etc. I am almost 37 yrs old! I don't need a curfew, or a keeper!
Do any of you know what can cause such a personality change. She used to be a happy go lucky person. Now it is strange. When Sean told me some of the things she had done, I thought he had exaggerated, but now, I know he has not.
