Hi, im Kristin and new to just mommies. Im a mom of an almost 3 year old and I have two step kids. I've known them since they were little and moved in with their dad 4 years ago. Two years ago next month we got married. I feel very lucky that it has been a fairly smooth transition. I still have some problems when my husband is deployed with my step son. Also working out getting the kids for visits. But otherwise I am blessed to have two very well behaved step kids that love their little sister!

Welcome Kristin! I'm Rachel, mom to Sarah (24), James (21), Daniel (7) and Keelan (14 months) and custodial stepmom to William (13) and Clayton (11). We are in the middle of a custody battle with their mom, as she wants them back after 3.5 years of living with us.
