Big, scary changes at work today. So far it seems that I still have a job but I have no idea for how long. So tired of this! I just want to have some stability for a while.

That doesn't sound good Kris!!! We go through hire lay off twice a year, but at least we KNOW it's coming twice a year.

Rachel I'm sorry about your boy's job. I hope he can find something else quickly, and if not, I hope he at least qualifies for Unemployment so he has something coming in!

I laid down to take a cat nap today, and DH let me sleep for over three hours. So now I'm wired and ready to tackle grocery shopping!!! Poor DH. LOL

You must be excited, Jennifer! Those four months will fly by! Have you decided on colours, dress, etc?
YES! I got my dress like a month after we got engaged. Just by chance I happened to find the one while shopping with my mom, my MOH, and my FMIL.

Colors are pink and grey. Our favors will be tiny bottle of oil and balsalmic vinegar that people dip bread in, (Our wedding food is all italian.)

Our theme is family. My flowers will be stargazer lilies.

Umm what else?

Our song is Michael Buble.

Kris, Not trying to pry, but you said your and your kids are always crabby when dh goes to visit his other family. Is that his parents or siblings or children? and I hope you catch a break and it not you on the lay-off list
Rachel sorry about your son.
Jennifer I so cant wait to get married but I just agreed or told him I would rather go to a court house now then wait another 10 years before we get married. He wanted to wait and save money so I could have my dream wedding but with 5 kiddos thats never going to happen. So why not just go down have get married and have an awesome reception in our back yard and in 10 years we can renew our vows the way I really want. Hope you have a beautiful wedding!! and have fun planning it!

No worries I'm an open book. I did word that funny . It's his children from his previous marriage. BM has made it impossible for us to blended so dh basicially has 2 separate families. That may end soon if his youngest comes to live with us.

That sucks Ro. I hope you start feeling better soon.

Kris I really hope she comes and lives with you!!!!

We majorly over slept today. I woke up with my face smushed into the ipod, the last thing I remember doing is checking our bank account (unemployment was supposed to go in today, and it didn't *sigh*) and next thing I know it's 2pm! I still need to pick a cheesecake recipe and go get the ingredients!!!

I told S today I'm quiting my job in 2 years, either because I'm in nursing school fullt ime by then, or well because I'm so done and over it.

he was okay with it. though he knows already that once I'm in nursing school full time that I"m done with working here.

I need to go to Ashley's house since she's making cheesecake.

I also need to determine what is and isn't discriminatory hiring practices. I'm still a good care provider; Christian or not.

Seeking assistant teachers for a not for profit childcare ministry. Individual must be at least 18 years of age and have a minimum of a high school diploma. Looking for someone who is a Christian and wants to make a difference in the lives of the children we serve. Individual must be able to work flexible hours between the hours of 6:00a.m. and 7:00 p.m. and have a clean background check.Could possibly lead to a full time position. Please send resume with references and desired pay rate.
There's a plethora of ads. I called after applying. Different schools. I mean there's no way to check and I was raised in the church so I could fake it but since we did you have to be Christian to care about people. My mom (who still goes to church) even said there's all sorts of Christians making that a requirement is dumb. I wouldn't work there. So...yeah. Passing those up.

We have my parents helping and his parents helping a little bit too. We are keeping the wedding under 6 thousand dollars. We will probably make close to that back, so the offset won't be too much.

I am SO excited. I am actually waiting for a package to arrive from UPS right now!

oh that's good if you can succeed. our wedding is alerady over $6,000 and that's not even paying half of everything we need. but since I finally found the one, 'my daddy' is spoiling me for it.

I never wanted to plan a wedding. I am odd I know that.

I am not feeling to great. Paul is saying it's from lack of sleep. I think it's because I am getting sleep. I never get sleep so that doesn't mean anything!!!
