Reme says to me yesterday.

"If you and daddy have a baby, does that make mommy it's step mommy?"

I love how little kid's minds work.

I told him, kinda, but not quite. He said she could be "Aunt L" then.

aww. yeah when I was pregnant my stepkids were confused on how she could be their sister if she wasnt in BMs tummy lol

They boys used to get confused too. But that was from BM saying they would never have any other siblings because her and DH weren't together. So we just had to explain that since Josh and Angelica were from their Dad then that made them half brother and sister to them. But we really don't actually USE the half. They are Brothers and sister. And Hoy's frist ex is Auntie J but his 2nd ex isn't anything.

That is precious. For a little while, O thought when we have a baby that we will share it week on week off with his mom too.

He also thought that when his dad and I get married, everyone's last name changes. Like he asked me if my parents last name will change, and if my nieces last name will change.

I LOVE the way kids' minds work.

Reme is HUGE on last names. Like seriously, everyone has to have one, and if we don't know it, he will make one up. And the names have to match. People who don't have the same last name can't be directly related to him.

So when his mom got married and took M's last name.. what doe she say to her? "Ashley is my mommy now, you're my step mommy because your name is different."

We were pretty fast to clear that one up!


L will probably be the first person to have my kiddo over night. lol.
