I'm sad to be sending him home. Usually we are both more than ready for some peace and quiet.
But he's been so good this week, dang near earned a set of wings for good behavior... and I don't want him to go home

Aww. We get like that a lot. A lot of times we are like counting down till Sunday, lol. A week straight after a week of nothing can be tough sometimes. Today we get O back since he went to his moms on Christmas day at 10am. He hasn't really had a chance to play with ANY of his toys that he got here, except the DS of course, and we are excited becuse we are all off this week!
But yeah, it sucks when she comes to pick him up. Especially after a really good week. hugs

Yup bank it in your memory bank. It can be so up and down that the good moments remind us why we deal with the bad. You'll see him again soon and I bet he'll drive you nuts the next time. lol
❤ Big Thanks to Vicki, trishosaurus, & Shortcake for the great siggies of my kids! ❤

He started acting up the minute he walked into his mother's house. Not uncommon though, she takes his crap, we don't.
But yes, it was definitely a week for the memory banks. There wasn't even any complaints except "are there no more for me?" when we let him open all his gifts and then made him watch us open ours. lol

I'm glad you had a great week with him! My youngest dss does the, "Are there any more?" thing too, but I think he just likes the actual act of unwrapping things.
Yeah I let Reme unwrap my gifts with me to keep him occupied because there was a pile of "family" presents under the tree and told him all the adult presents had to be opened first. And he's not stupid, he knew exactly what those presents were and was itching to get them.

I love the sweet times. Today I felt horrible. Robert fixed himself lunch (without me knowing) then came in here and told me "Patty, I fixed my lunch, do you want me to fix you a lunch?" He got a sweet hug from me and I told him thank you but I wasn't feeling like eating right then.

Thank you Babydoll213 for my wonderful siggy
I walked by his room on Sunday and got all upset because he wasn't in there. Usually DH is the one who has that reaction, he's been walking around like a peacock because he feels we made it over the hurdle and are more of a family than we were before.
