So I finally got my ring! I am officially engaged!! got sick the 23rd still battling it. Christmas was great, then we went on a mini vacation to St. Augustine, then to Daytona beach, then ended up in Orlando now we are back home.

I really hate Christmas though. the kids got pretty much everything they asked for and still seem ungrateful. we spent 200 on each of them except my son, he had less spent on him so we are thinking of buying him numbers for his dirt bike that he wanted from his grandmother but didn't get. I just need to text his dad and see if they are still planning on buying them or if they just hadn't came in. other than that it's been pretty good.

Congratulations on your engagement. My kids seem ungrateful too and they also got what was asked for and then some. You just can't win sometimes.

I pretty much beat Reme over the head with the threat ALL YEAR that if he was ungrateful I was taking all the toys back to the store. This was the first time he's gotten a present and wasn't "why'd you get me this, I wanted something else." he just twitched because he powered through his gifts and had to wait for the rest of us to break into the family presents.
