was strange!!!!!

Apparently my step kids bm has been storing stuff at her ex's family members house out near us. Bm lives in another state with her parents. So last weekend she left her other 3 children with her parents and drove all the way out here with her cousin to get her things and bring it back home. They rented a Uhaul trailer for it all.

She called us Friday to tell us she would be here Saturday and would like to see the kids for a few hours. We said ok. She was supposed to come Saturday at noon. SD tried calling her around 1 to see where she was and no answer. She called us at 4pm to tell us she was now on her way to see the kids. She came and picked them up and took them back to a hotel. We asked if the kids should bring any swimsuits or anything....she said no pool at the hotel.

So 4:30 she picks them up and she had them home around 9pm. Kids came home hungry. After BM left ss started crying. We asked whats wrong and he said he doesn't even know why she picked them up. I guess they all went back to the hotel room and were watching tv. BM and her cousin fell asleep. When she woke up she drove them home.

So the kids sat on the floor in the hotel room for a few hours...no food...no attention. Then she drove them home.

I guess that counts as visiting her kids right? Grrrr....

Just typical bm though....no notice and just a half ***** attempt.

Ya they weren't happy. We were pretty upset by it too. Ss missed his game because she was supposed to be here at noon and we were trying to accommodate her. Sd said when they got to the hotel bm made sure they called the grandparents to say hi. Bm told her parents they were gonna hang out and watch movies and get dinner. Just proves our theory of shes only trying to make her parents happy.

They know it, and they wont forget it. Its a shame when moms act that way. A real shame. I feel bad for you and your skids.
