We filed papers today to modify the custody arrangement in the event BM gets out of jail. We are asking that visitation be suspended until she has a home, some transportation and a job that she has kept and is stable. Then for the visits to be increased slowly and supervised so that we can monitor for behavior issues in K again. Because right now he is a totally different kid. Like 180. It's amazing. We did express that we think it's important for them to have a relationship with BM but not if it is going to cause behavioral and emotional issues like it has. Right now we aren't even sure if she will get out, she went back for probation violation. She missed 2 reports, skipped 7 community service appointments and missed 2 of the restitution payments she was supposed to make. So we should know on Wensday what is happening. Thats when she goes to court. We are still waiting for our hearing date obviously. I know everything is in our favor but it still makes me nervous.

I hope that works out for you. She's had enough failed chances to warrant some action being taken in the best interest of those kids...

Yeah the things that works for us is we have DHHR agreeing that a change needs to be made for the safety and emotional health of the kids.
