So he is going to Summer school. However, there is no attendance requirement. So he can go or not go as many days as we wish.. it's just there for him as needed. So he can go and see his dad.

DH also insisted in getting his logins for his school programs. L's never given them to us, and she has no internet at home.. so Reme hasn't been able to do any extra study work that his classmates do.


The good news... When he started school in Sept, he was off the bottom of the chart in reading and writing. As of January, he's on par with the lowest of his non special ed classmates

Math is another story.. but that's the online program that he hasn't been able to use. We are going to try and buy Reme a laptop this spring... they'll get him the net. But it has to come with him to our house every other weekend.. so I can remove the crap that L will manage to get on it like her last one she killed. Wasn't even 5m old and she'd killed it with virus's!

Yay for Reme's improvement! That's great news, and I hope having access to the online stuff will help him out even more.

I'm really glad that he won't miss out on time with his dad.

So are we. DH is very excited. I did tell DH though that he has to drive Reme to summer school if he doesn't work this summer. LOL. I'll get up and go pick him up at the end of the "day" (aka 3hrs later).
