I had to take Sean back to the Spine Specialist yesterday and the news was great! His back condition is now in remission! He is no longer in a back brace 23 hrs a day, he only needs to wear it when he needs it or if he is doing excessive lifting. He is to ease back into full teenage activities except for contact sports. The dr is sending him back to physical therapy so he can rebuild his back muscles and learn the new way to care for his back. We were told the condition can return without warning, but as of right now, no surgery, no restrictions, no full time brace, and he can be a kid, back riding his 4 wheeler etc.
