It has been so quiet on here for the last month or so, just figured I'd do a check in and see how everyone is.

We are well here just very very busy! We have something different going on every week from now until the middle of June.

To throw a wrench into everything I need to have back surgery. I am dreading having to tell my boss that. Ugh. Need to do it today. Not looking forward to that.

Things are normal here. I am busy with school. Jonah is still looking for a job from being laid off. Robert has spring break this week so we hear grumbles from the other two about it.

Last week, while Sean was gone to Sheriff's Explorers, I got the call that every parent of a new driver dreads! My child had been in an accident. Thankfully it was just a minor rear-end collision, and he was not at fault. His big jacked up Dodge was not hurt at all, his trailer hitch took the hit and caused signficant damage to the Mustang that ran up under the back of him, but no one was hurt. He was scared, and that was all.

I am back on track for bariatric surgery since we found out Sean doesn't need back surgery and meet with the doctor on April 16.

We just got home. We had a unplanned day out with Dani and Robert. Sean decided he didn't want to do, that he had more important stuff to do on the farm. We went to see Oz, the Great and Powerful and then took the kids to Build and Bear Workshop. Kids had fun and we built an Autism Bear (kids built a kitty (Dani) that now wears a sparkly tank top and a monkey Darth Vader (Robert)).

Tomorrow, school work for Jonah and I (lots of it since we skipped out on it today) and either Monday or Tuesday we will take the two little ones to buy shorts for spring/summer. Neither one can wear ANY of their clothes from last year or from the cruise. Sean can at least wear his!

I have a new baby and I'm having to deal with stuff that my husband could have handled when he was in for two months. (He's back out to sea.)

So I'm tired. And resentful. And a bit cranky.

Great here DS just started a new daycare on Monday, and the transition is going so fantastic. He just loves it! And I love his new teachers already. His old teacher is coming Saturday to babysit so DH and I can go on a date, and so that they can have some fun together, too.

Yay people are still here!

All is going well here. DH's been gone since early March, and will likely be gone another month.. hopefully longer. He came home over Easter to see Reme and me, I had Easter dinner at Reme's with his mom's family. Been spending a fair bit of time with him, and his mom. We had an ice storm here yesterday, and the apartment got really cold so she told me to bring the cat over (her power came back long before mine did) and Reme would keep me warm. It does him SO good to see us hanging out and getting along.

We did have a bit of an "issue" yesterday. He hadn't said anything until now, but apparently he misses spending the night here. He got all upset about it... we didn't know what to do! So we told him he just has to ask, and if I'm not working we can certainly have a sleepover. Poor little guy.

he and I are leaving tonight to go visit DH and my inlaws. He hasn't seen them since October when his great grandmother died, and everyone's itching to see him. He's going down again next month.... but DH wants him to spend time with certain people, whom he wont get to see if he stays at my Inlaws house. He's quite excited about it.
