Thought the drama was gonna end with bm's mother when bm moved out of her house. Apparently not!

SD and I cleaned out her room recently and bagged up a bunch of stuff she didn't want anymore...clothes, jewelry, hats, toys, etc. I took pics and listed it all on a few sites on Facebook where people sell kids/teens stuff. SD shared it on some too and I guess it showed up in her newsfeed or something on Facebook. Her grandma saw it.

Grandma sent me a private message stating that she saw we were selling a bunch of Sd's old stuff, some of which she bought sd. She said that she would like us to send back the items she bought so she can pass them onto her other granddaughter!!!

Are you kidding me!?!

I am ignoring her message altogether. Hubby says act like I didn't receive it and if it comes up just say that I have Facebook on my cell and the baby must have clicked on it because I never read the message. Then tell her the stuff was sold.

It would cost more to ship the stuff back to her than its worth. And honestly I don't remember which items we bought and she bought. Ugghh...

Oh my goodness! That is over kill. I mean, it would be on thing if she had given them to you with those intentions, but with the relationship between you all right now, it sounds like she's just being petty. If she says anything to your DSD, you could have her take them back when she goes to visit. Otherwise, just sell them. I'd probably just ignore the entire converstaion. I mean, if they were gifts, most gifts are given with the intent that the recipient will use/dispose of them at his/her discretion.

In 5 years, the styles will have totally changed anyway. She sounds ridiculous.

Oi.... really.. that family is so freaking petty. If they persist tell them to say which pieces, and to send you the money for mailing it...that will probably shut them up.
