I am sorry for not posting a new "fun" thread daily this week. School started back and I unintentionally ended up with 2 very high work load classes. Right now, I am trying to get things figured out as to how I am going to get everything done and in what order.

And the question of the day is...
What are your biggest grammar and speaking pet peeves?

"Sence" for "since". Drives me insane. It's not even a word.

My biggest speaking one is saying ex ceter - it's eT cetera. Also using irregardless which isn't a word instead of regardless.

My big pet peeve is not using the proper type of word such as there/their/they're, your/you're, too/two/to, then/than. I want to correct them if done repeatedly!

Grammar pet peeves are misspelled words. Speaking pet peeves are double negatives (I don't want no)and I hate when people say ax instead of ask.

And "ensure" vs. "insure"!

oooh I hate double negatives! If you don't have none does that mean you have some???

I also hate when people say these ones & those ones.
