Do you think you are saving any money by being green? If so, are you saving a lot, some, or very little? If not, why?

Except for some organic foods, I think we are saving money. I don't know if it will buy us a cruise, but every little bit helps!

In some areas, we are saving, in other we're not. I think we're probably saving just a little bit, overall.

I spend a little more by buying organic foods.

I save by making my own cleaning products, not using the dryer, making homemade baby wipes, reusing a lot of things, driving less, using less electronics, taking quick showers, etc..

I honestly don't think so. Saving money isn't the highest on the list for reasons why, and I am willing to pay more for better quality or healthier things.

Some things yes. Cleaning with vinegar is a heck of lot cheaper.

buying less boxed processed stuff is saving me money, but then the extra on other organic things is more expensive. probably not much.

Yes and No. We've "invested" in a lot of things to go green, but we won't see the payoffs for at least a year or so on most of them. (reusable grocery bags, indoor composter, cloth diapers etc.)

I'm saving money on cloth diapers but that's about it.

So far yes. We've reduced our gas bill as well as our electric bill. Not by much, but enough that if we made a change that would be more expensive it would even out.

I've been using more vinegar and natural cleaning things so that saves a bit. Plus I'm doing freecycle so I can pick up some free things and get rid of some stuff as well!
