I'm relatively new to being "green," and I've been reading a lot about all the chemicals in sunscreen. Is there a safe sunscreen out there? What do you use on your children?

You can find which are safe, and unsafe on the website- Skin deep

I use Earths best on my kids. It works really well, and applies easily. I have also used Burt's Bees, which also worked really well, but was harder to apply

We also take cod-liver oil supplements daily, as described here

And here's one more article that I thought had some good thoughts on the subject, as well as some tips- My thoughts on sunscreen, Part 2 | Keeper of the Home

After reading many recommendations of California baby, I think I'm going to give it a try this year!

This is one area I have NOT gone green in. Once it's time to buy new products I will look into some more natural options.
