We all know those chemicals are bad!!!

In a muslin bag:
1/2 cup baking soda
1/8 cup arrowroot powder
a handful of lavender petals and rosemary leaves
a few drops essential oils (in this case lavender and rosemary)

You can mix whatever herbs and oils you prefer.

That sounds like it smells awesome! For years, though, I have just used vinegar.

I use vinegar as well, but... darnit, I really like the flowery/girly smell on my laundry

For a while there I was putting essential oils on a wash cloth and would put it in the dryer with the clothes. They smelled nice.
