Do any of you give your toddlers/children raw goat milk? I live in TX and there is an awesome little farm up the road with their own goats, and besides all of their organic veggies/eggs, they sell a TON of raw goat milk every week to moms...they often run out and you have to pre-order it. I've tried it myself, and it tastes alright, and I'd like to give it to my son because I've read that it's WAY more nutritious than any pasteurized milk (still "live", full of enzymes, all the nutrients, etc.) but I do worry about the possibility of sickness...my husband is really against it. My 18mo currently drinks organic whole cow's milk.
Do any of your children drink raw milk? Just looking for any info from moms who have experience with it.
My kids drink Raw Cow Milk regularly, in fact it's the only milk they drink anymore. So I am all for you switching to the Raw Goat Milk, I would suggest that you try it and see how your toddler likes it. As long as it is from a reputable source, you shouldn't have much to worry about as far as health concerns.
I prefer raw milk cow/goat over any pasteurized milk products, it is extremely nutritious containing all the beneficial bacteria and enzymes and all that, you even absorb more vit. d and other vitamins and nutrients from the raw sources.
