Good to know. I usually whack Sudocrem on but it would be good to try something natural and the onion sounds easy!
I wonder if there are any natural insect repellents you can apply to the skin? I wondered about this for Daniel to enable him to play out for longer in the evenings in the summer hols. We have a brook at the end of our street and consequently get a lot of midges once the temperature drops for the day. I am going to get some citronella candles to burn but would still like something I could apply direct to his skin.
