Where you live, what's the system for recycling?

Do you have trucks that come and collect your recycling bins?

Do you have to take stuff yourself to a recycling station?

Is there a rule in your area that you have to recycle or face consequences, or is it just up to you?

We have to pay for garbage pick up and we have two bins - one for garbage and one for recycling. They recently switched over to streamlined recycling so no need to sort. Easy as can be. (and I have had to add two recycling bins of my own since one was not enough lol)

Do you have trucks that come and collect your recycling bins? Yep, the little arm thing comes out and grabs the bin

Do you have to take stuff yourself to a recycling station? Nope

Is there a rule in your area that you have to recycle or face consequences, or is it just up to you? We are relatively new to the area/state but there is no rule that i'm aware of

We live on a military base, so we don't pay for garbage or recycling pick up since it's included in our rent. They gave us a huge bin (matches the garbage one only different color) that everything goes into - no sorting! They pick up every other Monday. No consequences, but it's so easy and free why not do it? I only know of one person in my section of housing who doesn't use the bin (it's never on the street). I just don't get it.

Where you live, what's the system for recycling? Blue bin, grey bin, compost bin

Do you have trucks that come and collect your recycling bins? Yes.

Do you have to take stuff yourself to a recycling station? No.

Is there a rule in your area that you have to recycle or face consequences, or is it just up to you? It's our own choice. However, we are only allowed one free garbage bag/can per week so it makes sense to recycle.

Recycling is available and optional - they pick up once a week - they provide bins for our use.
