Love this article. So important. This is something I really believe in and try to do for my children.

In what ways do you help your children enjoy, love, respect and care for nature?

my children live and breath the outdoors. they love the simple task of picking up leaves and rocks and making crafts with them. fall is our favorite time of year, we spend alot of time outdoors as a family because mommy doesnt do outside in the summer, im allergic to heat lol

Our biggest way of connecting DS to nature was to move to the country. He is constantly outside playing in our wooded area, exploring the area and just sitting out there for hours with his dog. We talk about the different kinds of trees and plants that grow in our area, as well as the different insects and animals and how we should let them be b/c they are all beneficial to the environment in some way. We also raise free range chickens for eggs (although my chickens have been on an egg laying strike for a long time now *pout*).
