What are you planning this year? Real or plastic?

If real, what type and size, eg scots pine, fraser fir, norway spruce, nordmann etc? and why?

If fake, what colour, new this year or old, fibre optics or separate lights?

Colour scheme or random?

What are you planning this year? Real or plastic? Plastic. I'm allergic to pine and fir trees

If real, what type and size, eg scots pine, fraser fir, norway spruce, nordmann etc? and why?

If fake, what colour, new this year or old, fibre optics or separate lights? It looks like a real tree, white lights (unless I buy blue ones), I think my ornament set is shades of blue, but I also have all my childhood ornaments this year.

Colour scheme or random? I like blue and silver, so i stick with that.

I do plan one day to have a set of gold ornaments so I can alternate between blue and silver and silver and gold

Fake tree, I am hoping for a new one but I will be okay with my old one as well. The old one is just kind of wimpy lol. I want a fake one that looks real. Well I really want a real one (I know it's not 'green' but we always got them from sustainable sources growing up and I love the smell) but Dh doesn't like real ones and we live in Hawaii so....My color scheme is silver, black, and cream.

If real, what type and size, eg scots pine, fraser fir, norway spruce, nordmann etc? and why? 3-4 foot if I can get it, it's going to sit on a table in the window. I want a fraser fir or norway spruce, they are more like the trees we had when I was a child, and I find the nordmanns rubbish for needle drop even though they're supposed to be the best for retaining needles, they smell as well.

Colour scheme or random? Colour scheme this year as we're having a small tree and only using the "posh" ornaments - purple, blue, silver, pink, white.

Not sure yet ... we have a fake one but it was for a specific space in our home ... that space is no longer available. If I can find a tall skinny tree then I'll get a real one - otherwise we'll make due with our fake one, one way or another.

If real, what type and size, eg scots pine, fraser fir, norway spruce, nordmann etc? and why?
Not one tiny clue about kinds - just whatever is pretty and sized right!

If fake, what colour, new this year or old, fibre optics or separate lights?
Attached lights if fake and separate lights if real. If real, all white. If fake, multi-colored that blink with music.

Colour scheme or random?
Random ... the only ornaments I put on the tree are handmade ornaments the children made/make or ones that were given as gifts. We'll do a homemade garland - cranberries, oranges, popcorn - maybe some cones. If we're feeling festive and enthusiastic we'll make some for the outdoor trees as well with "critter-friendly" treats.
