Since everyone is loving the easy challenges here is another one. Let's see those layouts with lots of stars!

This one is not going to be easy for me. I'm not sure I have any way to cut out stars (I can't even draw one free hand). that's why it's called a challenge though right

Do you have George and Basic shapes or Plantin Schoolbook? Both those have stars. You can also find a template online, print it out and trace it onto cardstock or paper. Or you could even look through one of the books your kids have. There are tons of stars.

Here is mine. I'm not loving it, but it works. I don't like the busy background paper.

Having a tough time with this one!! I've had lots of ideas but can't seem to get any of them to work how I want them to. Think I am going to go work on something else and come back to it later tonight.

Ladies you can free hand a star and it doesn't have to be perfect. Here is an example of a layout I did.

Finding stars to work with wasn't a problem for me - I had star eyelets, star stamps, and at least 3 cricut carts with stars on them. I just couldn't get any of my ideas to work today. I seem to have trouble finding ways to use stars in my layouts. Here is what I finally came up with....I'm not in love with it but it will do (I think). I am happy with the stars and the colors, but I am not too sure about the title. What do you think???

It looks good Amanda, i like how you put star in yout title

that is pretty Chantelle, i love the colors

Kelsey i love the star paper and i think it looks great, and very balanced out

Here is mine, i usually have no problem with stars but like alot of you i wasn't feeling it today, could be i'm sick but not totally happy with it. It is Tristan modeling his baby legs, he was a really superstar letting me change them 3 times

You guys' pages look great!! The pumpkin patch went later than I thought it would and I'm hurting from carrying the girls around while playing tag (yep one kid in each arm chasing a yard full of 3 year olds, enough to make anyone ache)... SO no LO for me today.

I really love all these start pages!!!

Jen - if I free handed a star it would not look cute and unique like yours, more like deformed squids. (stretch you imagination has a star though... don't love it, but I do have a way to cut a star)

Actually made the star paper by myself! Used one of my small background stamps from SU and (part of) the star on another one of my SU stamps to heat emboss the gold on the black. The one I used for my layout was actually my second attempt. I tried using some small stars from another stamp along with the big stars. When it was all said and done there were just too many stars!! LOL!!

Thanks. It is actually an embossed Sizzix folder I put thru my cuttlebug and then cut out. I first had a house, but it just didn't look right so I switched it out. Your page is adorable. I keep hearing about those baby legs, but didn't know what they were - so cute.

Amanda - that's a cute page & love those pics. It's hard for me to use bright busy patterns as background paper too. I have used pastel ones and don't mind using those. What I end up using my bright busy patterns for is cutting out letters with cricut or cuttlebug. They're great for that.

Very sweet page Chantelle. I too love the colors.

Kelsey - you are so creative with your paper. I haven't thought about using my stamps and heat embossing the paper to get a particular background. I think your title is cute, and it fits the pic.

Well now I need to see you make a star. Come on draw one and then cut it out and take a picture. Trust me I am no artist. I drew them on the back of the paper so you can't see the lines then cut them out.
