Today was my best friend's birthday and she had an U/S scheduled - she is due September 13th. Well, at the U/S she was told that the son, Hunter, they'd been anxiously planning for was indeed a GIRL!?!?!?!?!?!

So, with only about 7 weeks to go, she now has to plan for a daughter. Needless to say, her husband, mom and herself spent quite a few hours at Babies 'r' Us this afternoon changing her registry for her baby shower THIS Saturday.

However, I am flying into town on Thursday to surprise her and be there for her baby shower - so that will be fun

Insane
I know quite a few that has had that happen to them
one still insisted that her baby was a boy even after the ultrasound said girl guess which was right in the end?

I would be so stressed if that had happened..

Have fun at the baby shower when you go and have a safe trip

I would be sooo scared of that happening! Glad they found out BEFORE though, instead of having everything ready for a boy, and out pops a girl.
and at least girls can pull off boy clothes better then the other way around.. some at least.

ps; I hope she has her baby on her due date, thats my birthday

lol thats funny.
they wont tell us the gender here.
If we want to know we have to pay for the 4D ultrasound at a specialty business that does them. (which of course i did, i hate surprises)

That totally freaked me out and I asked at every u/s and I think the dr got annoyed that I kept asking to make sure... I had at least 10 u/s after finding out the sex since I had gestational diabetes and was considered high risk. At least she found out with some time to prepare for the change.
