Does he pay? Is it court ordered or did you just arrange an amount?

There will be an amount set by child support enforcement, but it's not done yet. So far he's given me $120 and it's been 2 months. And he thinks that's enough.

When my ex and I seperated he told me that if I ever needed anything to come to him and he would help me. Well, after two years of no medical, and no money because he swore that I was going to go and spend it at the clubs. I finally took him to court.

The child support court ordered him to pay 50.00 a wk plus it is mandatory that he covers Adrian in medical and dental. And it comes out of his paycheck because if it doesnt and he starts working under the table there is no way of keeping track of what is owed.

Also if it is enforced and say he moves, you still get pay. If he gets fired or laid off or quits, whatever he is behind you get out of his tax return. So my honest opinion is to have it mandatory.

Dont get screwed!!!!

Yes, he is giving child support through the system as well. The funny thing is I told him I was going to do this in case something happens to him (loosing a job or whatever) and the fact that Welfare would not give me cash assistance for Alexis unless I did this anyhow. So, he tells me do what I have to do but he told me he will try to give me what PA expected him to pay me well he thought $205 was it. Well when they (Domestic Relations) looked into it, they realized he could pay me more! Plus, my lawyer suggested I get spousal support as well he was not happy with that at all. He told me I agreed to $205 and that was all he was offering me a month (no spousal) well DR told him no you owe her this amount $$$ and you will pay it or else LOL. He was so mad because he told me we could have settled this without me going to Domestic Relations, um nope I did not trust him-glad I did what I did because he is now paying for it (more than one way). That is why he wants this divorce to happen so fast is so he doesn't have to pay me spousal support anymore. Is that nice of him? So that is my story about Child support ugh it never stops does it ladies? ;-)

I put a court order of support on the father of my boys and then I took it off. Call me dumb I know. He has problems finding a job and keeping one so he says. But he helps alot with the boys and watches them for me when I need to go somewhere important. Would rather have him do that at least then see him going to jail for 6 months. I am going to start the process of support soon with my daughter's dad. Hopefully they find him, since he is now missing and will not tell where he is located. People have told me that he is in Florida. Just my luck!!!!

I'm not single but I still get child support ... sometimes.

There was no way my ex would have paid child support if I left it up to him. He fought it for a year before I saw a dime.

I got a court order for $423 a month. From Nov. 03 - June 04 I got about $200 a month. He owes me over $5,000.

I hate my ex with every ounce of my soul for who he is and what he did, and anything I could do to make his life more difficult, I made sure it was done, LOL. Now that DH is adopting Danny, child support will stop (with the exception of back support) ... whenever my ex signs over rights.

ummmmmm.....well......would you call a check for $9.67 once a week child support, or just a waste of the paper it is printed on????

My ex-husband has 6 kids, my two are the last ones in line for his support. The court order is for $76 a month, but I get a check for $9.67 a week. So....he is already behind and will stay that way for who knows how long....

Sim....heheheh, I know you!!!!!!! Wonder why? LOL

yeah..I know all about the soap box... :soapbox: I get on mine every now and again too!
