So i posted on facebook how i finally got ava stuff out of boxes and into the dresser!..I was so happy to finally start getting things rolling..her bassinet was washed and put back together.
Aaron seen the picture and when he texted me he asked what he owed me for the crib to square it away.. I told him i held out on the crib for right now as im going to stay a few months longer at my grandparents and we will most likely be moving around the time she will be leaving the bassinet..
I dont want him to just hand over money.. I want him involved!!!..a friend of mine told me to just take the money seeing as ava isnt born yet.. Aaron has yet to touch a baby outfit or anything baby related..
I told him he was in charge of doing carseat research and i asked him if he wanted to pick out ava coming home outfit/picture outfit and he agreed.. but im wondering if its really going to happen or will i rush out in january to get the things she does need..
just frustrated and want to bang my head against the wall..
Yikes. I definitely wouldn't trust a man to be on top of any of that. Keep on him about it and make sure he follows through. Give him a time line and then just do it yourself, that way you aren't running out at the last minute and rushing to grab something. He is a man after all. Even though it just seems like commons sense to us women, it's not to them.
You could see about doing a deadline for when he should be doing that but I would more likely just get the carseat and coming home outfit myself so that would be one less worry & annoyance especially if Ava daddy doesn't follow thru .
