I'm currently reading, the one after pillars of creation. I think. My friend introduced them to me and i'm trying to get throught them. I get mad at the characters for doing something then i have to put it down for a bit. They are quite good though.

I haven't read Terry Goodkind, but I was looking for a book just last night and I found some in my dh's side of the bookshelf
My guess then is that this is a fantasy writer?

yes he is a fantasy writer, but not a strange wierd fantasy writer. Many of his themes can be applied to todays world. The series i'm reading right now, in the later books, he deals with the issue of communisium. It's really interesting to see foreign worlds dealing with issues that are present today. He's a very good writer. I recommend him.
