I just checked to see what I have by Dean Koontz and I have False Memory and Winter Moon. I haven't read either of them. Anyone have an opinion which one would be a good introduction to Mr. Koontz's writing??? Thanks.
i'm not going to be much help but thought i would post anyway. i LOVE dean koontz, but havent read false memory. winter moon i have read, i remember it was pretty good, but i don't remember how good - LOL
Well, I went and bought one Koontz book. I couldn't remember any titles mentioned here so I ended up buying "By the Light of the Moon". I've just started it but it seems to be prettty good. The main female character not the most likeable of people (actually, she's really getting on my nerves), which I think it's a risky thing to do. I can't wait to see how he handles that. I always tend to write very likeable main characters, it's very risky and tricky to write unpleasant or nasty main characters that a reader won't care much about. And so far, I couldn't care less what happens to this paranoid, judgmental b****
she stays the same way, but not as b****y - i think you just kind of grow to understand her, and then begin to like her. when him and her just meet - she is awful, but then as they get to know each other and are around each other more (she lets her guard down), she is much better
