I picked it up cheap and when my husband saw it he said it was made into a movie with Christina Ricci. I haven't seen the movie and I was wondering if anyone has an opinion on this book. Anyone read it or seen the movie?? Thanks.
Amy

I've not done neither but I've heard the book is good.

I just finished reading it. It was good, imo, but I also shared many of the experiences of the girl in the book, so it touched me on a personal level. I loved the way how Wurtzel could describe things that were fairly disturbing, yet they were everyday to her. The way she could sound so casual about them made them disturbing in a whole new way.
