What are your favorite children's books? What are your child(ren)'s favorite(s)?

I love picture books by Robert Munsch, Sandra Boynton and Jane Yolen. My favorite chapter book is Charlotte's Web.

Ty's current favorite is The Gingerbread Boy.
Luc's current favorites are the How do Dinosaurs... by Jane Yolen.
Zach's current favorite is Going on a Bear Hunt. He will not let DH read any other book to him. And it has to be DH. He does not like/let me read books to him. He turns the pages to get to the end as quickly as possible, making it difficult for me to read.

"The Lord compensates the faithful for every loss. That which is taken away from those who love the Lord will be added unto them in His own way. While it may not come at the time we desire, the faithful will know that every tear today will eventually be returned a hundredfold with tears of rejoicing and gratitude..... These experiences, while often difficult to bear at the time, are percisely the kinds of experiences that stretch our understanding, build our character and increase our compassion for others."
