What are you reading now? Are you enjoying it so far?

I've been reading Zenith by Julie Bertagna. It's a YA book. I started it on the 31st but haven't had much chance to read it. I hope to get back to it now that the holidays are over. It's interesting, although I probably should have read the first book first. I only chose it b/c it met the requirement for my reading challenge.

I'm now reading Plum Pudding Murder by Joanna Fluke. I love culinary mysteries.

I'm reading the new Stephen King book Under the Dome. It's pretty good so far. It was just hard to get into b/c he has to introduce so many characters

I'm re-reading The Work and the Glory Series, I'm on the first book (again.) It's a book series about my church.

I'm onto Sam's Letters to Jennifer by James Patterson. It seems like a sad book so far.

I just finished Jumper Cable to Piers Anthony. I wasn't really crazy about it. It took me over a week to finish it! It should have been a quick easy read.

Now I'm reading A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith for my IRL book club.

I have to put A Tree Grows in Brooklyn off to the side to read The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society by Mary Ann Schaffer and Annie Barrows.

I am reading The Last Anniversary by Liane Moriarty. Just started it last night - it's a girly, bathtime book. Just read Star Sullivan by Maeve Binchy. This was the only book of hers at the library I had not read and I read it in one go. I've been slacking in the reading department lately.

Glad to see you again!

You get to read in the bath??? Ahhhh, I remember those days.... I'm lucky if I get a 5 minute shower nowadays!

I don't read much fiction. I've just finished Cosmic Ordering by Jonathan Cainer and have ordered a copy of Diana Cooper's A Little Light On The Spiritual Laws to read from Ebay.

My son has been listening to Inkheart on CD. He really likes it. He's onto Inkspell now.

I started reading "The Host" by Stephanie Meyer about 3 mths ago and left it at chapter 5. I picked it back up after new years and flew through it.. it got goood!!!

Since then I've read, "The Immortal Highlander" by Karen Marie Moning and "The spell of the highlander" by the same author.

I am half way finished with "Skin" by Ben Mezrich (its an xfiles story) and I have another Xfiles book to read right after that.

I got into a reading binge... I cant get out.. I may need help... lol I read after the boys go to bed... and I admit I stay up too late... im sleep deprived but my loyal characters in my book make me happy. lol.

I'm almost to the second book in the Work and the Glory series. When I read a series I have to finish the entire thing, I can't just stop in the middle of it, even if I've finished a book.

RJ - I've read the first few books in that series

My neighbor brought me her Sookie Stackhouse books. I wasn't planning on reading them because the show is a little much for me. But, why not? The first book was "meh", but the 2nd one was better. I just started the 3rd one last night.

Once those are done, I'll go on to some I got for Christmas.

I've heard a lot about the Sookie Stackhouse books. Lots of people raving about them. I read the first one and thought the same. I'm on the fence about continuing the series, although I'll probably go back to them when I run out of things to read later on. That's good to know that the 2nd one is better.

I'm now reading Plum Spooky by Janet Evanovich. I needed something light and fun after reading The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society.

I'm in a reading rut lately. I've read Dear John, Living Dead Girl by Elizabeth Scott (I cried through it, so depressing), and now I'm reading The Lovely Bones.

I need to get out of this rut and move to happy books. lol

I'm on the fourth one now. They're okay. They're not awesome. I definitely like the Twilight saga better. I think I might have liked 2 & 3 better because I haven't seen season 2. I don't know if that makes sense. It did go a little faster too. But, I hate the recap stuff... I wouldn't be reading book 4 if I hadn't read 1, 2, & 3... LOL!

Thanks for the review! I won't be in a mad rush to read the Sookie Stackhouse books...

I'm now reading The Diving Bell and the Butterfly by Jean-Dominique Bauby - a memoir of an amazingly, optimistic man.
