It's the 21st century, but the gods of Mount Olympus and assorted monsters have walked out of the pages of high school student Percy Jackson's Greek mythology texts and into his life. And they're not happy: Zeus's lightning bolt has been stolen, and Percy is the prime suspect. Even more troubling is the sudden disappearance of Percy's mother. As Percy adapts to his newly discovered status as a demi-god (his father is Poseidon), he finds himself caught between the battling titans of Mt. Olympus. He and his friends embark on a cross-country adventure to catch the true lightning thief, save Percy's mom, and unravel a mystery more powerful than the gods themselves.

Two U.S. Marshalls are sent to a federal institution for the criminally insane located in Boston's Outer Harbor to capture a violent female escapee.

I had no idea those were even books.. lol...

I personally have never seen a movie based on a book that I loved IF I had read the book first.

Case in point.... Twilight, How to Deal, .... I can not think of the others.. just those two stick out in my mind at the moment. oooh a nicholas spark book made into a movie.. what what.. um... mandy moore is in it... can't think...

I'm kind of looking forward to seeing Lovely Bones. Not sure if it comes out in january or february. I started reading the book but it creeped me out So I didn't finish it LOL Otherwise, the only book that I read that I thought movie was way better was the Notebook by Nicholas Sparks. I kind of gave up on his books, too depressing

The Lovely Bones is out in the theaters already. I think it came out mid-January. I don't think I can watch it. I can't watch the previews without tearing up. I cannot imagine sitting through an entire movie!
