1. Where do you get your ideas? (For novels, fan fiction, poetry.)

2. Do you plan the whole story out in your mind? Or do you just have a tiny spark of an idea and go where it leads?

3. What do you do when you are having a mad case of writer's block?

4. Are there any writings you've started but never finished?

1. Where do you get your ideas? (For novels, fan fiction, poetry.) Most of the time I'll just be sitting here and an idea will come to me. Sometimes I'll hear a song and thing of something too

2. Do you plan the whole story out in your mind? Or do you just have a tiny spark of an idea and go where it leads?
Tiny spark. I had a totally different idea with the fanfic I'm writing now, but this is where the characters took me

3. What do you do when you are having a mad case of writer's block? I have to take a step back for a few days just to think clearly again. I'll go over certain parts of the story again or just zone out to music. Most of my idea come when I'm in the shower LOL

4. Are there any writings you've started but never finished?
No more than a couple. Sometimes I think it's a great idea, get a few chapters in and realize I have nothing. I never write more than one thing at a time though. I need to focus on just that one piece until it's done

1. Where do you get your ideas? (For novels, fan fiction, poetry.) Everywhere. They usually smack me upside the head when I'm not expecting it.

2. Do you plan the whole story out in your mind? Or do you just have a tiny spark of an idea and go where it leads? I've done both. I've tried outlining, but the characters rarely cooperate.

3. What do you do when you are having a mad case of writer's block?
I listen to music. There's usually a song that conveys what I'm trying to do with a scene.

4. Are there any writings you've started but never finished? I have a manuscript I set aside so I could finish some agent-requested revisions. It's on hold indefinitely because I have another project I want to get started on within the next week or so.

1. Where do you get your ideas? (For novels, fan fiction, poetry.)
Everywhere. My childhood/history. My kids. TV shows. Songs.

2. Do you plan the whole story out in your mind? Or do you just have a tiny spark of an idea and go where it leads?
I've done both. Sometimes I have the whole thing in my head and other times I have a small idea and I just start writing.

3. What do you do when you are having a mad case of writer's block?
Leave it for a while.

4. Are there any writings you've started but never finished?
Yes. I have a couple books finished and probably 10 that aren't finished.

with fan fic, I usually write how I wished the story should have gone. my current fic... i have no idea.. it just came to me one day lol

my short stories are usually based on real life.. and poetry... probably real life emotions.

2. Do you plan the whole story out in your mind? Or do you just have a tiny spark of an idea and go where it leads?

I usually have an idea... then the characters lead the way and change alot of it.. lol

3. What do you do when you are having a mad case of writer's block?

read fan fics.. or books... stay away from the story for a bit...

4. Are there any writings you've started but never finished?

tons. I need to get back on them...

1. Where do you get your ideas? (For novels, fan fiction, poetry.) Things just hit me, and mostly out of nowhere.. Music is a big inspiration for me too so sometimes I'll hear a song and suddenly get bombarded by ideas.

2. Do you plan the whole story out in your mind? Or do you just have a tiny spark of an idea and go where it leads? For my novels I like to write out an outline so I dont get 'lost' and remember where I wanted to go with it.. it's not solid though, if I feel the need to change things or add things to it I will. For my fanfics I just kind of go with the flow and let the characters take the lead.

3. What do you do when you are having a mad case of writer's block? I usually just leave it alone because if I try to force myself to write I end up doing work I'm unhappy with.

4. Are there any writings you've started but never finished? Almost all of my writing that I've started is unfinished. The problem being that I start something and I get in the middle of it and a new idea hits me and that bugs me until I start writing it to.. however, I have a novel manuscript that it near completion and my goal is to have it done by the end of march.
